What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

I respect and honor client's commitment to personal growth and development by listening and collaborating with them to determine the focus and course of counseling. Given the unique nature of individuals, I prioritize my professional development by keeping up on the latest psychological research by reading scholarly articles and attending training sessions related to mental health treatment. I have the utmost respect for my clients’ courage to face personal vulnerabilities and only ask them to do the things I have already done for myself as a client on my personal journey of growth. I help clients explore and uncover unconscious patterns of thinking and acting that challenge their ability to be the best version of themselves. I’m excited to provide clients with tools to discover their true essence of wisdom and resiliency to cultivate the life they desire. I consider it a profound priviledge to assist clients’ recognition and manifestation of their true self.

How do you determine therapy goals with clients? What does that process look like?

As a team, we will explore current obstacles in your life and identify your natural qualities and strengths to effectively address your challenges and build resiliency. We will collaborate to determine the specific goals you hope to achieve and the steps that will empower you to make the changes you desire. Your commitment and work for personal growth and development will open up many new possibilites in your life. Imagine living life in full stride empowered by inner clarity, calm, confidence, and courage.

Work History

I began my career in the mental health field in 2013 as an intern therapist at a non-profit organization that provided counseling for trauma survivors. In 2015, I was licensed in Georgia as an associate professional counselor followed by full licensure in 2018. I became a Registered Play Therapist in 2019 and a GA registered supervisor of licensed counselors in 2020. I became a SC licensed counselor in 2023. I consider it a great privilege and honor to partner with individuals seeking assistance to handle life difficulties and complexities that seem overwhelming and impossible to overcome. Throughout my career, I experienced firsthand the powerful resiliency of the human spirit to survive life’s most difficult challenges. This inner resiliency proves to be reliably present within every individual regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or life circumstances. I am humbled and honored to witness and support clients’ courageous inner work as a sacred and noble process of self-empowered healing and growth.
