What is your style/approach to therapy?
Christina works from a strength-based and trauma informed approach tailored to each individual. She has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (thoughts/feelings/actions), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (Emotional/Rational/Wise Mind), and Play Therapy modalities. Christina utilizes mindfulness and relaxation, creative based interventions, psychoeducation, and behavior modification interventions.
What does a first session with you look like?
Christina fully respects the therapeutic relationship. Collaboratively, we will identify your internal strengths and explore how to incorporate them in overcoming life’s challenges. We will examine how various aspects of an individual’s life may impact your well-being including physical health, support systems, work or school environment in this process.
