What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Christina Martinez, LMHC Christina Martinez is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida who has been practicing since 2016. She has a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University. Christina views counseling as a collaboration between the therapist and the client. Her approach begins with a person-centered approach, developing comfort in the therapeutic relationship. Christina strives to meet clients where they are by being an attentive listener and helping them cope with their circumstances and eventually move beyond them with resiliency. In her spare time, Christina enjoys saltwater fishing, hiking, kayaking, white water rafting, camping, going to the gym, martial arts, reading books, playing video games, movies and shows, creative writing, drawing, and exploring other creative hobbies.
