What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Clarissa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NC practicing since 2019. She earned her Master's degree in Social Work from Winthrop University, where she also obtained her Bachelor's degree. Clarissa has experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults in various settings (i. e. Universities, summer camps, counseling center, etc. ). Clarissa is experienced in the areas of anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, peer relationships, college life and other issues pertaining to wellness and overall mental health. Clarissa offers a highly personalized approach tailored to your individual needs to help you reach the personal growth that you desire. Clarissa provides services in a comfortable, supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere as she helps you to problem solve, define goals, recognize options and build on your strengths. In her free time, Clarissa enjoys spending time with family/friends, traveling, playing various musical instruments and cooking.
