What does a first session with you look like?

Clients can expect a warm, safe environment of genuine care, curiosity, and acceptance. This will be the relationship foundation we use to explore our insecurities and issues while making concrete changes in our lives. Psychoeducation is a part of the therapeutic process, so clients can expect the communication of new knowledge and skills to apply in their daily lives. My goal is to provide a space and environment where you feel accepted, heard, and cared for while we work together to gain insight and make concrete changes to improve your quality of life. What is your style/approach to therapy?

I focus primarily on cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and existential therapy while incorporating family systems theory into my treatment plans. I do my best to provide solution-focused tasks for clients to work on each week, so that therapy and change doesn't end in session.
