What does a first session with you look like?
During our first session, we'll talk about your history, what's been going on with you lately, and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. From there, sessions can look very different depending on who I'm working with. I do bring humor, compassion, and a direct approach to all sessions.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use a variety of methods, sometimes also called an eclectic approach. I am trained in CBT, DBT, and mindfulness based practices. I also have begun learning and implementing practices from ACT.
