What does a first session with you look like?
I have always believed that peace is an internal characteristic that allows us to sit in silence with our innermost thoughts and feelings. Learning these skills can seem like a foreign concept and be a huge step, but we often find that silence holds the most answers through therapeutic work. As a therapist, I take pride in empowering individuals to take control of their lives and create the tools needed to survive and thrive.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My experience includes but is not limited to working with individuals with co-occurring disorders, those navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. I utilize a wide range of modalities including but not limited to CBT, ACT, DBT and trauma informed approaches apprized by psychodynamic and behavioral therapies that can assist in alleviating internal and external stressors. Addtionally, I I work to create integrated treatment goals to address mental health from a holistic standpoint. I hope that you believe that peace can belong to you.
