What does a first session with you look like?
Clients can expect to take away a feeling of acceptance and being heard. There may be some sessions that are more difficult to process, and those times may leave you feeling emotionally tired by the end. It is very important that your needs are met during our sessions together.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
First and foremost, I believe in a person-centered approach with clients This approach allows you to be your genuine, authentic self with unconditional acceptance. I also utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Gestalt Therapy. My approach is tailored to meet your needs. Therapy is about YOU becoming your best self and I may need to utilize several modalities to achieve this.
