What does a first session with you look like?
I am experienced and can support you in working through past trauma, working through depression and anxiety, supporting on your addiction recovery journey, and processing intimacy and relationship struggles. In our sessions I’ll provide a personalized mix of both behavioral support (helping you build healthier habits and patterns) as well as processing deeper thoughts and feelings (figuring out why you have those old patterns to begin with).
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use lots of different modalities, and try to weave in different tools and therapeutic methods as needed, based on each individual. I enjoy meeting clients where they are at in identifying emotions, core beliefs, identity, trauma processing, and examining the deeper roots of our thoughts and feelings. I also focus deeply in my work on building strong therapeutic relationships of trust, care, and compassion.
