What does a first session with you look like?
You can expect to work with someone who will truly listen, understand and help you make changes that work for you. I believe that therapy should involve action and improvement in the short term.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach is eclectic, I use cognitive behavioral therapy, empathic and reflective listening, and help you process emotions. I believe in psycho education and learning skills to help manage issues such as breathing, relaxation, and various coping skills. I try to employ things that the client likes for example journaling.
