Debora utilizes an eclectic and holistic therapeutic counseling approach, utilizing a variety of techniques and tools with clients because, one size does not fit all . She has a foundation in cognitive-behavioral therapy and a strength in adapting therapy to each client s unique needs. Debora has spent many years working with individuals using trauma-focused therapy, guiding clients through the healing process from trauma and abuse experiences. One of Ms. Van Romer s primary goals when working with clients is to provide a confidential, supportive, and non-judgmental space for them to explore and process life problems, experiences, and trauma. Debora is committed and dedicated to each client s ongoing growth, change, and well-being, as she works with every client to improve the whole person. Debora works to empower her clients, so they can recognize their strengths, build their confidence and skills, which leads to more productive, peaceful, and happier lives.
