What is your style/approach to therapy?

I tailor counseling to the specific client and their unique needs. I tend to be very conversational, but at times I will use expressive arts techniques, sand tray therapy, worksheets or other tools to enable growth and increase insight for my clients.

What does a first session with you look like?

I take an Adlerian approach to therapy, meaning that I look for those mistaken thought patterns that have developed overtime. Ones that are so ingrained and habitual that you may not even know they are there, and I help you to address them and change them. I use talk therapy as well as expressive arts and sand tray therapy.
