What is your style/approach to therapy?

My primary mode of therapy is Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I use medications when necessary to assist in engaging in therapy. . Medications are never pushed and I am more then willing to discuss pros and cons of medication.

What does a first session with you look like?

I am a therapist who engages with my patients You will not find me to be the stereotypical therapist . I will encourage you to think, ponder, and seek new ways of dealing with your issues. Therapy is hard work and each patient leaves with homework to be done for the next session. You will find me to be an attentive listener and showing a great deal of warmth and compassion with my patients.
