What does a first session with you look like?
I believe that people may sometimes need help in many areas of their lives, therefore I treat with a Person-Centered, wholistic approach. With this approach the therapist treats the whole person and is instrumental to the changes of the client but is not directly responsible for any change. The Person-Centered Therapist gently guides clients to break self-imposed barriers that block self-determination and growth. I integrate techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Reality and Solutions Focused Therapies to help clients challenge maladaptive thinking patterns. It is my hope to join you as a fellow traveler as you take a journey mental health, physical wellness, spiritual restoration and emotional stability.
