What does a first session with you look like?
Clients can expect a warm, gentle, soft spoken therapist, who will motivate you and challenge you when needed. Clients will be held responsible for doing their part outside of the therapy room to create change of function. Clients may be given an activity to complete, a skill to practice, or asked to give the self time for reflection.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I work collaboratively with my clients, focusing on the relationship, using empathy, warmth, and a non-judgmental approach to help clients identify conditions of worth in hopes of achieving your true potential and help you become your best self. I also understand that individuals are different; therefore, to better serve you, I also apply approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness skills to achieve your goals better. My goal is for clients to leave the therapy room, feeling more relaxed and hopeful about their presenting problems.
