What does a first session with you look like?
I listen and look at health care history. I ask questions about what is going in all parts of your life. What has worked? What has not worked? What do you want and need.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use questionaires for screening of depression, anxiety, and adverse life events. I order labs and diagnostic testing if needed. I do referrals based on needs discussed. I prescribe medications, hormones, and over the counter treatment options. I educated on what is happening and the options for treatment. I recommend trying some of the new apps for phones and tablets. I let you be proactive in your care.
