What does a first session with you look like?
My goal is to help clients live more fulfilling lives that include a better relationship with themselves and others, and that starts by increasing our emotional intelligence and self-efficacy.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of mental health settings which has increased my exposure to a multitude of mental health issues. From these experiences, I have been able to strengthen my clinical interventions and learn new skills that I can directly apply to what is concerning you. I use a variety of evidence-based counseling interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Reality Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy
