What does a first session with you look like?
I try my best to make the therapeutic space calm and enjoyable. I think it is important to help the client feel comfortable and relaxed to be able to discuss specific topics.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I try my best to create a treatment plan that is reasonable to accomplish and set goals based on the client's needs. I use different modalities of therapy depending on what suits the client. I always incorporate CBT and solution-focused techniques to help my clients with seeing progress within themselves.
