What does a first session with you look like?
The first session with me is spent reviewing your main concerns and developing realistic goals for your therapy sessions moving forward. I will usually give you some type of worksheet or other educational material that encourages you to monitor your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors throughout the week.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, interpersonal therapy, mindfulness strategies, role play, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing strategies during therapy sessions.
