What does a first session with you look like?
If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, behavioral issues, or trauma I can help you identify triggers and tools to manage these challenges. I do this by creating a safe, judgment-free environment in which my clients can explore the various areas of their past and present that need healing. Together we will develop a plan to help you reach your goals and be the best possible you.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My therapeutic technique is based on a therapeutic relationship where I guide my clients with empathy, active listening, patience and validation in developing the courage to take the small steps in reaching their optimal life. I guide while making sure that my clients lead this process as they are the experts on them. I use a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Therapy meditation and yoga to provide individualized treatment to my clients.
