What does a first session with you look like?
In our first session, you have the opportunity to ask me questions about your particular goals, and what you would like to obtain from the therapeutic process. At the same time, I will assess your particular situation through a clinical interview that allows me to narrow the aid needed individually for you. We will also become more acclimated with one another, and together will develop goals for your process. This is the time in which we begin developing our relationship, and also you can clarify any doubts, or questions that you may have about the therapeutic process, and about what to expect from therapy.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I mostly apply cognitive behavioral therapy, client centered, motivational interviewing, and solution focused brief therapy methods as well as other individual techniques that match your individual needs, we can work towards alleviating how you feel and create insights into your unique situation.
