What does a first session with you look like?
The human brain creates "patterns" about the world based on experience; sometimes facts, sometimes fabricated. Learning about perspective gives you the ability to think clearer and not be ruled by feelings,
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My initial training was on psychoanalysis, neuropsychology and family therapy. Understanding people requires a lot of different training and work experiences. I have been trained in Dialectical and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Object Relationship, Humanist and Existential therapy. I have specialties in behavioral health and faith based therapy. I often use music, movies, and books to supplement therapy.
