The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions. Thriveworks helps people live happier, more fulfilling lives. Clients are guided and supported as they work through their unique mental health challenges – and, along the way, shown the life-changing power of therapy.
I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems.
Eileen Ganong is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 13 years of experience working with adults and seniors who are faced with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, weight-related issues, grief, difficult life transitions, trauma, and PTSD. Eileen received her Master's degree from Barry University in Miami, FL, and is licensed in Florida as well as her home state of Idaho. Her experience includes working for seven years as an inpatient Social Worker at an acute care psychiatric unit, supervising a large Mobile Crisis team, and assisting in outpatient therapy. Her therapeutic approaches includetrauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing. It can be very overwhelming to see a therapist, particularly if this is your first time. Eileen's casual approach is designed to make you as comfortable as possible and invites you to share your story and offers a warm, non-threatening and non-judgmental atmosphere. She strives to empower you to work with her on your issues and problems and promises empathy and a light-hearted approach.
