Eleonor Cabrera, LMSW Eleonor Cabrera is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Maryland who has been practicing since 2022. She has a Bachelor of Science in Criminology with a minor in Sociology from University of Maryland Eastern Shore and a Master of Social Work from Morgan State University. Eleonor provides a client-centered, trauma-informed approach where clients are the experts when it comes to themselves. They should be permitted to take the lead with an understanding that we all experience different types of traumas that they are allowed to share, heal, and move on from. The best way that Eleonor can help anyone is to listen and provide her clients with an environment where they feel safe, secure, and free of judgment, fear, and embarrassment. Eleonor strives to help clients see and understand that we all have a story involving pain and trauma, and she wants to help them see how strong they are with the skills they already possess. Eleonor intends to show clients that feeling comfortable with their diagnosis can aid in gaining back their power.
