What does a first session with you look like?
There is no couch to lay on or therapist with glasses writing on a notepad. My approach is a bit unconventional because I believe that making a comfortable, open, and validating spaced space for my clients is the most important thing. I incorporate humor and therapeutic activities. The session will be via video or audio chat for approximately 50 minutes. The first session is dedicated to completing administrative paperwork and getting to know one another, so anticipate the session lasting almost 2hrs. I promise it will go by fast!
