What is your style/approach to therapy?
Some of the methodologies utilized in session are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Trust Based Relational Intervention Therapy, Client Centered Therapy and Positive Psychology, and Trauma and Grief Component with Adolescents.
What does a first session with you look like?
I provide clients with a clearer perspective of their current predicament. We explore together various approaches to minimize emotional distress. In time the goal is to equip the client with the tools needed to address the challenges in their life. In addition, clients walk away feeling empowered and confident in their own abilities to maneuver through obstacles with a clearer perspective and a healthier mental state.
