What does a first session with you look like?

The first session is usually a mutual get-to-know-you session. In the next sessions, the work gradually begins and grows in progress. There is zero expectation of perfection. Each client is different and will have their own perceptions and takeaways, in accordance with their customized interventions. Every client will have education and tools to sustain and work on until the next scheduled session.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

As a highly ethical, multi-state licensed, and certified trauma therapist, I utilize a variety of evidence-based treatments. All treatments are initiated in accordance with the presenting symptoms and consent of the client. A variety of methods and tools I have are mindfulness, music therapy, art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
