What is your style/approach to therapy?

To keep this simple, I will share my methods in list form. You are likely to experience these modalities in our work together: CBT- how your thoughts and actions connect DBT- how you feel more in control and start to change your behaviors EMDR- how you dig deeper faster and really start to uncover and reprocess your concerning areas Brainspotting- how you skip all the other parts and arrive at the core of the concern much sooner I also incorporate mindfulness, meditation, positive affirmations, and so much more with all methods.

What does a first session with you look like?

Your initial session will help frame our work together. Each session afterward is structured as a check-in followed by psychoeducation/therapeutic work and typically ends with a check on how you will implement. You should never leave therapy not knowing what your next steps are.
