What does a first session with you look like?

While providing prescription management of psychotropic medications, I also incorporating brief counseling sessions with each routine follow up visits to further enhance treatment outcomes. My goal is to help clients realize that a healthy mental health is within reach. DIAGNOSIS Diagnose a wide spectrum of mental health issues based on current DSM-5 standards & appropriate use of psychiatric assessment tools MEDICATION MANAGEMENT Initial evaluation of the patient's need for psychotropic medications, the provision of a prescription, and ongoing medical monitoring related to the patient's use of the psychotropic medication PSYCHOTHERAPY Blend elements from different approaches of therapy and tailor treatment according to each client's needs.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

A holistic approach to mental health involves treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms of a disease. This includes working to improve one's mind, body, & soul. Some techniques include: Mind----relaxation techniques, meditation, therapy Body----nutrition, exercise, health Soul-----healthy support systems, finding purpose, emotional peace
