What does a first session with you look like?

My goal is to provide a safe and culturally competent environment for clients, to listen without judgment, to provide guidance, empathy and a learning experience. I believe you as the client are the expert of your own life and it is a privilege to be a source of guidance through your journey.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

My approach to therapy comes from a person-centered perspective. Other interventions and approaches include but are not limited to psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, strength-based, humanistic and cross-cultural therapies.
