What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including Addiction, Anxiety, Behavioral Issues, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality, Career, Chronic Illness, Coping Skills, Depression, Divorce / Breakup, Domestic Abuse, Grief / Loss, LGBTQIA+, Life Transition, Medical / Health Issues, Men’s Issues, Military / Veteran, Postpartum / Pregnancy, Relationships, Self Esteem, Self Harm, Sexual Abuse, Stress, Trauma / PTSD and Women’s Issues.

What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?

I understand what overcoming is...I had to overcome childhood trauma. I've been there. Healing from trauma is not easy, but you're worth the time and the effort. You have this one life, and it's important that you are able to show up for it in a way that you can feel good about, be at peace about, and be proud of.
