Erika Gobbi LCSW

Erika Gobbi, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida who has been practicing since 2013. Erika provides a multicultural approach to counseling. Being born to European parents in a Hispanic country and raised in a Caribbean island provides her with the ability to relate to various cultures. She arrived in the USA as an adult at the age of 18 years old which provides her a unique opportunity to relate to individuals that have a challenging time assimilating to the American culture or having a culture shock. Erika is compassionate, empathetic, and understanding. She has worked in various capabilities primarily with children 5 till 21 with developmental and psychological disabilities. That is her primary strength when it comes to therapy and assisting parents to better understand their children's needs/diagnosis. She is an advocate for her client, but she also allows her clients to develop self-advocacy. Additionally, Erika has worked with young adults and adults with severe diagnosis and helped them manage, understand, and cope through their symptomatology. In her spare time, Erika rescues animals. She is affiliated with a local rescue. She typically fosters pregnant dogs, puppies, and small dogs. Erika owns two dogs of her own.
