What does a first session with you look like?
My focus is to help empower you and assist in helping you heal, energize, and become aware of your inner strengths. This is achieved by providing a safe space, listening to your concerns, and working together to customize your treatment plan. Therapy is a conversation where I assist you with rediscovering that you are the experts in what is best for your overall quality of life. Expect to be heard after your sessions with me. Expect to leave knowing that I am working with you and for you to help improve your mood and relationship with yourself. Know that I am constantly learning so that I can bring more to you.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I focus on changing thoughts that impact behaviors and feelings and how all of those are interchangeable and impact one another. Sometimes focusing on finding solutions is more beneficial then focusing on fixing problems. And sometimes client want only want the support of a nonjudgmental person to allow self-exploration.
