What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Eva McKee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over 20 years of experience, assisting people experiencing coping difficulties and stress related to life transitions. This includes, but is not limited to relationship difficulties, work-life balance issues, adjustment issues related to the challenges of chronic, and life-threatening medical issues, caregiver burnout, as well as grief and loss issues. Eva treats patients 18 and older, utilizing client centered, Insight Oriented Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and strength-based approaches. Eva has extensive experience with chronic health issues, which affects functional status and coping with changes that occur with disease progression. Eva has experience working with culturally and economically diverse populations, and blended family dynamics. In her free time, Eva enjoys being outdoors, spending time working in her garden, biking, or enjoying local parks. Eva has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois.
