What does a first session with you look like?
You can expect to feel heard and understood after your first session. There will be more clarity in terms of what the focus of your conseling sessions should be and most importantly you will know you are in a safe space.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to counseling can be described as person-centered, solution-focused, and strengths based. I have had extensive training in Solutions-focused therapy and Play therapy. I have worked with different cultures and understand the importance of cultural sensitivity when working with different clients.
