What does a first session with you look like?
The first session is where I conduct an assessment and gather information on your history, symptoms and goals. Based on the information it will be determined if I am good fit for your treatment needs. Subsequent sessions will focus on developing insight, tools and techniques that you can apply outside sessions. Between sessions you will have the opportunity to practice these skills. When working with children, I encourage parent/legal guardian participation to promote implementation and adoption of skills. *Initial assessments with children will require parent/legal guardian participation, as such both must be present. **
