What is your style/approach to therapy?
My therapeutic approach is rooted in attachment, relational, and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) approaches. Basically, we grow from having a solid attachment with others through healthy relationships where our thoughts, feelings and beliefs are expressed and received by caring people.
What does a first session with you look like?
If needed, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help us decide if we are a good fit. Your first session with me is for you to let me know your concerns; then, together we determine how to create a plan for mental wellness while reaching your life goals. You can expect person-centered homework that will help you practice what you are learning in your sessions. Your full engagement and honesty is greatly appreciated and necessary for growth.
