The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. As your counselor, I will assist you all the way through the therapeutic process, as you establish specific goals by building healthy coping strategies that promote personal growth.

Fred Rhodes is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) with over 3 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Fred specializes in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use, trauma, attachment-based issues, identity struggles, mood disorders, and more. As your counselor, Fred will ensure a comfortable, friendly, and safe place for you by incorporating Cognitive Behavior, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing, and other therapeutic modalities. Fred completed his Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health at Colorado Christian University. He has lived in Colorado Springs, CO, for over 12 years and enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and bicycling. His professionalism extends beyond a range of diverse populations and issues.
