What does a first session with you look like?
You can expect a therapist that listens to you and your needs. I will encourage you to think, use boundaries and focus on your healing.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach is person-centered, therefore I utilize treatment methods that best meet your needs. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused-CBT, Solution Focused and Motivational Interviewing. I incorporate videos, worksheets and homework if and when needed because understanding the "why" is crucial.
