What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions. Thriveworks helps people live happier, more fulfilling lives. Clients are guided and supported as they work through their unique mental health challenges – and, along the way, shown the life-changing power of therapy.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. Having 26 years of nursing experience has allowed me the opportunity to care for people from diverse backgrounds. Despite having differences in culture, socioeconomic situations, age, and health status, I understand that my clients all have a common desire to voice their concerns and be heard.

What should we know about your experiences and background?
