What does a first session with you look like?

In the first session, we will get to know each other and what brought you into therapy. We will work together to create a treatment plan and set goals to help alleviate or learn to cope with the symptoms you are experiencing. Throughout our time together, we will review the treatment plan and can re-assess the goals to meet your current needs.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I use a combination of treatment methods to provide an individualized therapeutic plan. I utilize modalities from cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving techniques.
