What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions. Thriveworks helps people live happier, more fulfilling lives. What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. As a multi-racial and multicultural individual, I approach counseling with my focus on the unique individual; their story and experiences are valid and central to the collaborative work we do in the counseling room.

Hannah studied Sociology with a focus on human rights and global studies at Mount St.Mary s College, earned her Bachelor of Science in Marriage & Family Studies from BrighamYoung University-Idaho, and received her Master of Science in Professional Counseling fromGrand Canyon University. Hannah s comprehensive, person-centered approach to therapy, prioritizes the overall well-beingof the client and maintains alignment with their personal goals. She values effective, evidence-based methodology by staying up-to-date and educated on relevant studies and research. She has successfully integrated several types of therapies including family systems, psychodynamic,cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, nutrition-focused, solution-focused, and emotionallyfocused methods.
