What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including Anger, Anxiety, Coping Skills, Depression, Divorce / Breakup, Eating Disorder, Family Conflict, General/Undisclosed, Grief / Loss, Infidelity, LGBTQIA+, Life Transition, Men’s Issues, OCD / Obsessive-Compulsive, Postpartum / Pregnancy, Relationships, Self Esteem, Sexual Abuse, Sexual Orientation / Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Sleep / Insomnia, Stress, Trauma / PTSD and Women’s Issues.

What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?

As the wife of a United States Marine, and the daughter of parents who fostered teenage girls, I am able to understand the struggles of trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression and self-doubt.
