What does a first session with you look like?
My goal for working with clients is that they are able to create change in their lives for the concerns that brought them to therapy and also to understand how to apply the information to any issues that may present themselves in the future. Understanding how relational dynamics work allows each person I work with to be knowledgeable and empowered in their own lives.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I am a systemic therapist who integrates many approaches depending on your needs. Typical frameworks used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Psychoeducational Therapy and Relational Therapy.
