My practice specializes in working with veterans and first responders who are going through difficult times in their lives and need to regain their sense of balance. Whether it's transitioning into the civilian world, healing from their professional experiences, or moving on from unhealthy dynamics, we work with people who want to get their lives in better shape and strengthen their personal relationships.

I don't follow the traditional therapy approach where I just sit and listen. Instead, I take a proactive approach where I provide education, model healthy relationships and boundaries, and assist clients to heal their own inner wounds. My counseling style is laid-back yet effective.

The Symmetry Squad of licensed therapists specialize in a variety of areas and utilize helpful tools for processing such as EMDR therapy, Run therapy and walk and talk therapy in addition to employing trauma-informed, attachment-based, inner listening modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Polyvagal Theory lenses. We find these approaches exceptional at focusing on the mind-body connection and promoting an understanding and caring for our learned behaviors, impulses, and survival modes. This enables clients to restore balance within their nervous system and to reconnect with their "Self" in a healing and meaningful way.
