What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I often include NaRrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy as well as other therapies which fit the specific needs of clients. As a creative person, I will add art therapy into the mix if that is of interest.
What does a first session with you look like?
I feel privileged that people feel comfortable and safe sharing the most intimate details of their lives. My assessment is oftentimes free flowing as I want my clients to communicate their needs and feelings in their words, their voice. At the end of the session, together we will determine goals and treatment which is specific to your needs.
