What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Hilary is a licensed clinical social worker with over 16 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and families with a variety of behavioral health concerns, in a wide range of settings, and using multiple evidence-based models of treatment. Her work historically focused on children, adolescents, and families, and this background informs her understanding of and empathy for adults seeking therapy now. Hilary especially loves working with women and couples experiencing infertility, issues that might impact pregnancy, and postpartum disorders. Her preferred model of treatment is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as it is the most intuitive and effective she has yet come across. Most of all, Hilary views her work with clients as a privilege to "bear witness"� to their experiences, pains, and stories, and to strive toward. ;s clients' goals collaboratively.
