What does a first session with you look like?

After our first session, you can expect to feel more focused, as we will begin to explore goals and objectives. Between sessions, you will have the option to work on a particular goal utilizing different tools and techniques. In the sessions to follow, together we will process your successes. We also will determine what isn’t working so well.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I draw from the Cognitive Behavioral Approach, Narrative Approach, and the Psychodynamic Approach. The techniques and interventions can range from journal writing to mindfulness techniques. It’s all tailored to what is best for you.
