What does a first session with you look like?
Therapy is often a process of self-exploration. Clients should expect to take away a better understanding of themselves. Clients will have the opportunity to develop coping strategies that will assist in managing difficult thoughts and emotions that can get us frustrated, overwhelmed and stuck.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I believe in taking a collaborative approach with clients. There is no one-size-fits-all treatment plan in therapy because we all come with different backgrounds and experiences. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, strength-based, person-centered and psychodynamic therapy.
