What does a first session with you look like?
After the first session I'll follow up with you to help you process any stressors or anxieties that came up for you between sessions. I strongly encourage you to keep a notebook of things you'd like to talk about in the next session and what came up for you during that week.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused therapy. Both methods help you learn how to challenge and reframe your thoughts to think differently because if we can change how we think we can change how we feel. I'll also provide you with a wide variety of tools and techniques during our work together.
